Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15th to October 15 every year. It was originally intended to recognise the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the USA and to celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture but in recent years it has turned into a huge event which is increasingly sold to corporate sponsors.
